Ceremony held to apprise youngsters about beauty, traditions of parliamentary system

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) A delegation of youth assembly here Wednesday attended a ceremony that was held under the auspices of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chapter to aware younger generation about parliamentary norms.

The ceremony was held in KP assembly and addressed by secretary KP assembly Syed Waqar Shah and others.

Addressing the ceremony, he said that the ceremony was held with an objective to apprise youngsters about democratic norms, parliamentary tradition and principles of international cooperation. He also shed light on democratic procedures of commonwealth nations and mutual cooperation relating to human rights.

He said that there is strong liaison between KP assembly and commonwealth parliamentary association adding that various efforts including establishing of a help desk has been taken to inform youth abut beauty of parliamentary system.
