Ghanta Ghar Multan was illuminated with red lights during a special ceremony to raise awareness

about thalassemia and express solidarity with affected children.

A large number of citizens, social workers and members of the business community attended the event.

Commissioner Aamir Kareem Khan participated as the chief guest and spent time with children suffering

from thalassemia.

Talking to the children, he appreciated their courage, determination and fighting spirit, saying they were a symbol of hope and bravery for society.

He said that thalassemia was not just a disease but a lifelong struggle, adding that the smiles and resilience of these children conveyed a powerful message that no challenge remained difficult if society stood united in support of deserving patients.

The ceremony turned emotional when a child suffering from thalassemia shared his dream with the commissioner, saying that his biggest wish was to become a commissioner in the future.

Deeply moved by the child’s determination, Commissioner Aamir Kareem Khan fulfilled the child’s wish by taking him along in his official vehicle with full protocol and giving him a tour of the city.

The child expressed happiness and confidence, saying that he would continue fighting the disease and one day achieve his dream of becoming a commissioner.

Among those present on the occasion were former President Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman Friends Group Mian Fazal Elahi Sheikh, former President Multan Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry Sheikh Faisal Saeed, President Multan Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry and Managing Director Hadiya Foundation Hafiz Umair Saeed, President Hadiya Foundation Sheikh Hassan Saeed and business personalities.
