CEO KPEZDMC visits HEZ, HSEZ, reviews industrial activities

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development Company (KPEZDMC), Shaharyar Gul visited Hattar Economic Zone (HEZ) and Hattar Special Economic Zone (HSEZ), Haripur and reviewed ongoing industrial activities at both zones.

During the visit he engaged with industrial leaders, investors, the Hattar Industrialists Association (HIA), Zone Facilitation Committee (ZFC), and zone management teams.

During the meeting, they discussed upcoming expansion projects expected to attract new investment, enhance production capacity, and create employment opportunities across Hattar's industrial ecosystem.

As part of his vision for a more responsive and investor-centric industrial environment, the CEO also highlighted KPEZDMC's digital transformation agenda, including the planned implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution.

The initiative is aimed at streamlining processes, improving transparency, accelerating service delivery, and establishing a more efficient one-window facilitation mechanism to further strengthen ease of doing business for investors and industrial enterprises.

The CEO also toured several leading industrial enterprises, including PepsiCo International, Volta Batteries (ACM Group), and Ghani Chemical Industries, where discussions focused on operational excellence, future expansion plans, investment prospects, and opportunities for long-term industrial growth within Hattar Economic Zone and Hattar Special Economic Zone.

Highlighting Hattar's strategic significance, the CEO noted that its strong industrial base, proximity to Islamabad, and connectivity to major national trade corridors position the region as a key destination for industrial investment and economic growth in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
