CEO Health reviews Muharram emergency preparedness

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2026) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) District Health Authority,Dr.Syed Ata-ul-Munim reviewed health emergency arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram during a visit to the Health Emergency Control Room established at the office of the District Health Officer (Preventive Services) on Wednesday.

According to official sources, the CEO assessed preparedness measures and coordination mechanisms put in place to respond to any health-related emergencies during the holy month.

Later,he paid a surprise visit to Government Maternity Hospital, where he inspected various departments and reviewed healthcare facilities being provided to patients.

He checked staff attendance, assessed the availability of medicines through the indoor pharmacy and inspected services in the labor room and operation theater.

Dr.Atta-ul-Munim also reviewed the functionality of biomedical equipment and sterilization arrangements,directing the concerned staff to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.

During the visit,he met patients, inquired about the medical facilities being provided to them and examined treatment charts,consultants’ notes and treatment plans.

The CEO directed the hospital administration to further improve patient care and ensure the provision of quality healthcare services to the public.
