ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa on Wednesday visited the under-construction National Police Academy and reviewed the pace of work on the project.
During the visit, Randhawa, accompanied by Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza and other officials, inspected various sections of the project and was briefed on its progress.
Officials informed him that the academy comprises a nine-storey building, with construction work on eight floors already completed, while work on the final floor is expected to be finished within the current month.
The CDA chief was also told that finishing and renovation work was progressing swiftly, alongside the development of modern training facilities, including a rappelling tower and obstacle course.
Randhawa directed the authorities concerned to expedite construction activities and ensure that the remaining work, including the rappelling tower and training obstacles, is completed within the month.
He also stressed the need to ensure provision of essential utilities such as electricity and water, along with other training facilities at the academy.
Highlighting the importance of timely completion, he said infrastructure development projects in the Federal capital were among CDA’s top priorities.
He further instructed officials to undertake proper landscaping and horticulture work to enhance the overall appearance of the project.
