CCPO Peshawar acknowledges role of peace pommittee in Muharram

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Jun, 2026) Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Peshawar Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed on Tuesday met with United Peace Committee Chairman Hussain Ahmad Madani Advocate in Peshawar.

During the meeting, the Capital City Police Officer presented a special shield on behalf of Capital City Police Peshawar to Hussain Ahmad Madani Advocate in recognition of his exemplary cooperation, efforts to promote religious harmony, and significant contribution towards maintaining peace and order in the city during Muharram-ul-Haram.

Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed appreciated the services and efforts of the United Peace Committee and thanked Hussain Ahmad Madani Advocate along with all committee members for their role in promoting peace, brotherhood, and religious tolerance during Muharram.

Speaking on the occasion, Hussain Ahmad Madani Advocate assured continued cooperation with police and other law enforcement agencies in maintaining peace and order, promoting interfaith and inter-sect harmony, and serving the public interest.
