CCPO orders to tighten security at entry, exit routes

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2026) An order has been issued to check entry and exit routes of the city and to tighten

security of sensitive places.

A video link meeting was held under the chairmanship of CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamiana regarding

the current security situation, in which a detailed review of the overall law and order situation

of the city was taken.

In the meeting, the CCPO directed that in view of the current situation, the security of important and

sensitive places should be put on high alert and all police officers and personnel should

be on extraordinary alert.

Bilal Siddique Kamiana directed to continue effective combing operations against criminal elements

and said that the security of mosques, Imambargahs and markets should be further tightened

during Sehri and Iftar times.
