CCD to crack down on hired killers

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2026) The Crime Control Department (CCD) has decided to crack down on hired killers (shooters) across Punjab including Lahore.

According to sources, the main accused who had killed a person himself or by the help of shooters in the past will also be arrested now.

Police officials say that in many murder cases, the relatives were intimidated and reconciled, due to which the actual shooters escaped the clutches of the law.

Now the shooters will be cornered through the masterminds of these incidents.

According to sources, CCD authorities have issued orders for the immediate arrest of all wanted and fugitive shooters.
