Five candidates were caught red-handed while using unfair means during ongoing examinations in centres across Rawalpindi and adjoining districts
RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) Five candidates were caught red-handed while using unfair means during ongoing examinations in centres across Rawalpindi and adjoining districts. The Board of Intermediate and Secondary education (BISE), Rawalpindi, said on Wednesday that it was utilizing all available resources to ensure transparency in the examination.
The Controller of Examinations, Tanveer Asghar Awan, visited examination centres at Government Boys High School, Koh-e-Noor Mills and Government Girls High School, Koh-e-Noor Mills, Rawalpindi, as part of monitoring of the ongoing exams.
According to official details, the candidates caught cheating included two from Government MC Boys Central Model High School, Millat Colony, Rawalpindi; two from Government Higher Secondary school Dandah Shah Bilawal (Talagang); and one from Government High School Mota Gharbi (Jhelum).
The board said cases have been registered against all five candidates and forwarded to the relevant disciplinary branch for further action.
The Controller said that no compromise would be made on fairness in the examination system, adding that monitoring through inspection teams and surveillance systems was being further strengthened.
