BVH wall revamped with art, awareness messages

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) The beauty of Bahawalpur has been further enhanced with the addition of a unique and vibrant urban beautification project.

On the special directives of Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Syed Hassan Raza, the Bahawalpur Waste Management Company has completed the restoration, renovation, and cleaning of a previously neglected wall under the Suthra Punjab vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif. Under this initiative, the wall of Bahawal Victoria Hospital, stretching from library Chowk to Old CMH Chowk, has been adorned with attractive colors and decorative lighting, significantly enhancing the visual appeal of the area.

In addition to beautification, the wall now features various constructive, motivational, and humorous slogans aimed at raising public awareness about cleanliness and civic responsibility. These messages are designed to encourage citizens to take pride in keeping their city clean and well-maintained. This initiative is expected not only to add to the aesthetic charm of Bahawalpur but also to promote a positive sense of responsibility and environmental awareness among residents.
