Business community to fully cooperate for improving law & order: FCCI President

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) President Farooq Yousaf Sheikh on Tuesday said that the business community would extend full cooperation to further improve the law & order situation in the city.

During his first meeting with City Police Officer (CPO) Tanveer Hussain at CPO office, the FCCI President said that Safe City Project had significantly helped in controlling crime, which would contribute to the promotion of industrial, commercial and business activities in Faisalabad.

He emphasized the need to strengthen coordination between the police and the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry so that the issues faced by the business community could be resolved through mutual consultation and effective cooperation.

The FCCI President welcomed Tanveer Hussain on his posting as CPO Faisalabad and presented him a bouquet of flowers. He said that he strongly believed in close liaison between the business community and government departments to identify problems collectively and adopt practical measures for their solution.

Farooq Yousaf Sheikh assured the CPO of complete support from the business community in efforts aimed at maintaining peace and improving security conditions in the district.

He also invited the CPO to pay an official visit to the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry to further strengthen institutional coordination and collaboration.

The participants of the meeting discussed various matters related to security, business facilitation and enhancement of coordination between traders and law enforcement agencies for creating a peaceful environment conducive to economic growth.

Senior Vice President FCCI Naveed Akram Sheikh, Vice President Engineer Asim Munir and other executive members of the chamber were also present on the occasion.
