PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) The Pakistan business Forum (PBF) has stated that the battle remembered in military history as “Bunyan-un-Marsoos” will remain a defining chapter and a lasting lesson to India.

In an official statement issued on Saturday, the forum extended congratulations to the nation on the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, describing it as a historic milestone and a symbol of unity, determination, and national progress.

On the occasion, PBF President Khawaja Mehmood ur Rehman, Chief Organiser Ahmad Jawad, KP Chairman Ashfaq Paracha and provincial chiefs from other provinces, including Daroo Khan Achakzai, Malik Talat Suhail, Tariq Jadoon, Malik Khuda Baksh have paid tribute to the bravery and professionalism of Pakistan’s armed forces.

They stated that the sons and daughters of the nation defended the homeland with discipline, courage, and determination, while the unity of the people of Pakistan emerged as the country’s greatest strength. “When the nation stands united, no force on earth can shake its foundations,” the forum said.

PBF noted that the battle not only united the nation but also demonstrated Pakistan’s military, diplomatic, and economic strength before the world. The forum praised the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force for their strategic acumen, courage, and professional excellence in responding to the adversary, calling it a proud and historic chapter in the country’s history.

The forum further stated that Pakistan’s effective response is now being discussed as a case study in military institutions and war colleges around the world, reflecting the country’s strong defence capabilities. It added that the reported targeting of multiple enemy aircraft, including India’s advanced Dassault Rafale jets, highlighted the Pakistan Air Force’s superior training, operational skill, and technological capability.

PBF also paid tribute to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the military leadership, particularly the Field Marshal, for their prudent and effective leadership, which, it said, contributed to this historic success and continues to strengthen national stability and development.

The forum remarked that India not only suffered setbacks on the military front but also faced diplomatic isolation.

Expressing concern over India’s alleged violations of the Indus Waters Treaty, PBF stated that such actions constitute a breach of international law and pose a threat to regional peace and stability.

The forum urged India to adhere to the Indus Waters Treaty, emphasizing that its implementation is essential for sustainable peace, regional harmony, and mutual stability.

PBF also added that Pakistan possesses the capability to respond effectively and firmly to any challenges at all levels if such practices continue.
