QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) The Balochistan Think Tank Network (BTTN), in collaboration with the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering, and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), organized a joint seminar commemorating “Marka-e-Haq: Pakistan’s Resolute Response to Indian Military Aggression.”

The seminar brought together researchers and academicians from both institutions to honor the professionalism and commitment of Pakistan’s armed forces and its people in the face of external threats, said a news release.

Distinguished participants included Brig. Agha Ahmad Gul, founding head of BTTN; BUITEMS Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Hafeez; the Executive Director of BTTN; deans and heads of BUITEMS faculties; as well as directors and research faculty from BTTN.

Speakers highlighted that Pakistan’s resolute response during Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos and Marka-e-Haq reflected the nation’s unwavering commitment to sovereignty, dignity, and peace.

They emphasized that Pakistan’s Full Spectrum Deterrence, operating within the framework of Credible Minimum Deterrence, successfully denied India’s attempts to wage war below the nuclear threshold.

Despite facing an adversary with seven times the military strength and resources, Pakistan’s skill, discipline, technology, and national spirit proved decisive.

The seminar underscored that while tactical success has created strategic opportunities, Pakistan must now focus on internal stabilization, technological advancement, and smart regional balancing to navigate hybrid warfare, technological competition, and risks of inadvertent nuclear escalation.

Speakers also stressed that Pakistan’s response was marked by strategic restraint and a commitment to peace and diplomacy, urging the international community to take notice of actions that threaten South Asia’s strategic stability. Going forward, continued collaboration between the people, academia, and armed forces was deemed essential to transform moments of strength into long-term stability, prosperity, and peace for Pakistan and the wider region.
