Budget released for salaries of 12,000 temporary teachers

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) The Finance Department has released a budget for the payment of salaries for teachers who have been waiting for salaries for four months.

According to officials, payments will be made to 12,000 temporary teachers soon, while the education Minister says that salaries will be transferred to the teachers’ accounts within a week.

According to details, the issue of salaries of temporary school teachers in Punjab is moving towards being resolved. The Finance Department has released funds for the salaries of 12,000 temporary teachers on Friday.
