Body of seven-year-old boy recovered from Nullah Leh in Rawalpindi

The body of a seven-year-old boy who went missing after being swept away by floodwater in Nullah Leh has been recovered during an ongoing search and rescue operation, Rescue 1122 reported

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2026) The body of a seven-year-old boy who went missing after being swept away by floodwater in Nullah Leh has been recovered during an ongoing search and rescue operation, Rescue 1122 reported.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson, teams had been carrying out continuous search operations at various points along the nullah to trace the missing boy.

On Friday, during the operation, the body was recovered from the Nullah Leh near Gawalmandi.

Rescue 1122 personnel immediately retrieved the body from the water and shifted it for necessary legal formalities.

After completion of legal requirements, the body will be handed over to the family.

Rescue 1122 confirmed that the search and rescue operation has been successfully concluded following the recovery of the body.
