BNBWU Holds Awareness Session on Career Opportunities for Women in PAF

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jul, 2026) The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU) Sukkur organized an awareness session on “Career Opportunities for Women in the Pakistan Air Force” at the Event Hall, Admin Block here on Saturday.

The session was held on the directives of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj as part of the university's efforts to provide career guidance, professional exposure and opportunities for national service to its students.

Squadron Leader M. Shabeeb Durrani, Officer Commanding, PAF Information and Selection Centre Sukkur, conducted the session along with his team including Assistant Abdul Rafique, Corporal Technician Ikhtisham, Corporal Technician Muhammad Umar and Corporal Technician Jawad.

The speakers briefed students on career pathways in the PAF, eligibility criteria, recruitment procedures, professional training and the growing role of women in the Air Force.

The Vice Chancellor said the initiative reflects BNBWU’s commitment to empowering female students with informed career choices and leadership opportunities to serve the nation with honour and courage. A large number of students and faculty members attended the session.
