Blind murder traced in one month,accused arrested

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Feb, 2026) Millat Town police on Tuesday successfully solved a blind murder case within a month,arresting the suspect,Mudassar Abbas.

The incident occurred on January 15,2026, when Abbas and his accomplices were allegedly involved in an oil theft operation from a PARCO pipeline near Chak No.196-RB Ghona.

According to police sources, the group was confronted by PARCO security guards during the theft attempt.

In the ensuing altercation,Abbas reportedly opened fire,killing one of the security guards,Muhammad Nawaz.

The attackers then fled the scene.

Following the registration of a murder case,police launched an investigation,which led them to the arrest of Mudassar Abbas. Authorities were continuing their efforts to apprehend the remaining accomplices involved in the crime.

Further investigation was underway.
