Bilawal condemns suicide attack security checkpost in Bhakkar

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Feb, 2026) Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday condemned a suicide attack on a security checkpost in Punjab’s Bhakkar district that claimed the lives of two police personnel.

In a statement, Bhutto-Zardari expressed grief over the martyrdom of Constables Faheem Abbas and Shehbaz Madni, paying tribute to their sacrifice in the line of duty.

He extended heartfelt condolences and solidarity to the bereaved families, saying the nation stood with them in this difficult time.

The PPP chairman also prayed for the speedy recovery of Constable Arshad, who was injured in the attack.

Describing terrorism as a scourge that must be eradicated permanently, Bhutto-Zardari said the entire nation was united in the fight against militancy and vowed that such attacks would not deter Pakistan’s resolve. “Victory will be Pakistan’s,” he added.
