Bhakkar Police Arrest Five Suspects with Weapons and Liquor

BHAKKAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) The district police on Wednesday arrested five suspects and recovered illegal weapons and liquor during operations carried out as part of an ongoing campaign against criminal elements, the police officials said on Wednesday.

According to police, the arrests were made during targeted actions conducted in the jurisdiction of Darya Khan Saddar police station.

Under the supervision of Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Darya Khan Sajid Mahmood Sohail, Station House Officer (SHO) Inspector Sajjad Khan Dhandla along with a police team, arrested four suspects allegedly carrying illegal weapons.

The suspects were identified as Hakam Khan, Shah Barat, Salam and Akbar Shah.

The police said four 30-bore pistols were recovered from their possession, they added.

In a separate operation, the police arrested an alleged liquor seller, Amir Hayat, and recovered liquor 18 litres from him.

Cases have been registered against the suspects and further investigations were underway,the officials said.
