In a heartfelt address, Hafiz Tariq Mahmood, who is also an alumnus of Batrasi Cadet College, paid tribute to the former student of the cadet college, Colonel Shehzada Gul Faraz, a young martyr who sacrificed his life for the nation.
He highlighted the dedication of those who work tirelessly, often through the night, to serve and protect the country, ultimately giving their lives for its safety.
Recalling his connection to Batrasi Cadet College as part of its first batch of students, he expressed pride in the alumni and their families for their service and commitment to Pakistan. He also announced his intention to sponsor Batrasi Cadet College permanently, supporting education for future cadets.
The address emphasized the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army, particularly its youth who remain away from their families to safeguard the nation. Condolences and congratulations were conveyed to Colonel Sahib’s family on their loved one’s martyrdom.
The Chief Commissioner reaffirmed the association’s commitment to staying in contact with the college, its principal, and staff, ensuring that the contributions and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces and youth are always remembered.
Abdul Sattar Gul, Deputy Director of Administration; Zahid Mahmood, Youth Program Coordinator; Qazi Taimoor, Principal of Batrasi Cadet College; Tauqeer-ul-Islam, Senior Faculty Member; Shahryar Khan, Admin Officer; and Raja Talat, Director of Physical Education, joined cadets in honouring the nation’s martyrs.
