Barrister Danyal Ch inaugurates EPI vaccination centre in Potohar Town

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry on Thursday inaugurated an Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) vaccination site in Shah Khalid Colony, Potohar Town.

District Health Officer (HRM) Dr. Hussain Shah Tirmizi and other senior health officials were also present on the occasion.

The inauguration reflects the government’s efforts to improve access to quality immunisation services and protect children against vaccine-preventable diseases.

Speaking on the occasion, the parliamentary secretary highlighted the importance of timely vaccination, community awareness and effective healthcare delivery.

He appreciated health teams and EPI staff for their continued services and dedication to public health.

Officials said that the facility would help strengthen and expanded routine vaccination coverage and contribute to healthier communities in the area.
