Balochistan to inaugurate modern cardiac institute after Eid

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar has announced that the Balochistan Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, will be inaugurated immediately after Eid-ul-Azha. Talking to APP, he said the institute would mark a significant milestone in the province’s healthcare system, providing advanced treatment for heart diseases locally.

According to the minister, the newly established institute will offer modern diagnostic and treatment facilities using international-standard technology. The project aims to ensure that patients in Balochistan receive quality healthcare without having to travel to other cities.

He emphasized that the government is taking practical steps to reform the health sector and provide modern facilities to the public.

Bakht Kakar expressed hope that the institute would prove to be a major relief for cardiac patients and contribute to improving the overall healthcare system in the province. He added that the establishment of the institute would not only benefit patients but also provide opportunities for medical professionals and staff to receive advanced training and engage in research.

Reaffirming the government’s commitment, the minister said that more projects will soon be introduced to strengthen healthcare delivery across Balochistan, ensuring better medical services for the people.
