Balochistan accelerates Ramazan ration distribution in Sibi and Usta Muhammad

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2026) The Balochistan government has accelerated the distribution of ration packages to deserving families under its special Ramazan relief initiative, with organized drives conducted in the districts of Sibi and Usta Muhammad.

The relief efforts are being carried out in line with the vision and directives of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Khan Bugti, aimed at supporting laborers and underprivileged families during the holy month of Ramazan.

In Sibi, ration packages were distributed in Bakhtiarabad for laborers and residents of Tehsil Lehri. The drive was led by Deputy Commissioner Major (R) Ilyas Kabzai, with Assistant Commissioner Mir Bahadur Khan Bangulzai overseeing arrangements. Assistant Commissioner Sibi Mansoor Ali Shah was also present.

Ilyas Kabzai emphasized that assisting needy families during Ramazan is among the government’s foremost priorities. He assured that packages are being distributed transparently, following the chief minister’s instructions, to ensure genuine beneficiaries receive timely relief. He added that beneficiary lists were thoroughly scrutinized to guarantee fairness and warned that negligence would not be tolerated.

Mir Bahadur Khan Bangulzai noted that the process was conducted in an organized manner, ensuring beneficiaries received assistance with dignity and respect.

Meanwhile, in Usta Muhammad, ration distribution was also completed in a well-coordinated and transparent manner. The process was supervised by Assistant Commissioner Ramzan Ishtiaq and Tehsildar Ali Gohar, with beneficiaries invited according to pre-verified lists to ensure aid reached rightful recipients without discrimination.

Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ramzan Palal said that supporting needy families during Ramazan remains a key provincial priority. He affirmed that the administration is monitoring the process with integrity and seriousness to maintain transparency and equitable relief distribution.

Authorities confirmed that distribution will continue in phases to maximize coverage across deserving households.

Residents praised the initiative, noting that such welfare measures provide tangible support to vulnerable families during the holy month of Ramazan.

They expressed hope that similar public service efforts would continue in the future.
