Azhar Shehzad laid to rest with military honors

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jun, 2026) Azhar Shehzad, a young man martyred in the recent Kashmir helicopter crash, was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard at Banda Fateh Khan.

The burial took place with full official honors as a contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a salute.

Funeral prayers were attended by Army officers along with local residents, who gathered to pay their respects.

The solemn ceremony was marked by grief and reverence, as tearful eyes witnessed the martyr’s final journey.

Prayers were offered for the elevation of the martyr’s ranks in the hereafter and for patience and strength to be granted to his bereaved parents.
