RAWALPINDI:
The Auqaf Department has decided to lease land of several shrines in Rawalpindi Circle in order to increase revenue. According to the decision, land belonging to 15 local shrines and seven major shrines, as well as all designated spots where begging takes place at the shrines, will be given on contract. These shrines will be leased for one year from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
