Attock police arrest seven drug peddlers, recover hashish and liquor

Punjab Police claimed to have arrested seven suspects involved in drug trafficking and recovered more than five kilograms of hashish and 30 liters of liquor during separate operations carried out in different areas of Attock district

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) Punjab Police claimed to have arrested seven suspects involved in drug trafficking and recovered more than five kilograms of hashish and 30 liters of liquor during separate operations carried out in different areas of Attock district.

According to police officials, Assistant Sub-Inspector Sohail Aslam of Saddar Attock Police recovered 1,140 grams of hashish from Shahzad, son of Muhammad Fayyaz, a resident of Sarwala Sheen Bagh. In another raid, ASI Ejaz Naseem of Basal Police seized 1,460 grams of hashish from Asif Shehzad, a resident of Kohat.

Police further said that ASI Muzammil Shah of Injra Police recovered 1,300 grams of hashish from Muhammad Kamran Khan of Chhab, Tehsil Jand, while ASI Rashid Hayat of Hazro Police seized 1,290 grams of hashish from Muhammad Rashid, a resident of Syedan, Tehsil Hazro.

In separate operations against liquor smuggling, Sub-Inspector Khurram Shehzad recovered 10 liters of liquor from Raheel Ahmed in Hazro, while ASI Fida Hussain seized another 10 liters from Naqeeb Tareen. Similarly, ASI Adil Shehzad of Fateh Jang Police arrested Irfan Ali after recovering 10 liters of liquor from his possession. Police said cases had been registered against all suspects and further investigation was underway.
