Attock Municipal Committee reviews performance

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) Additional Deputy Commissioner General (ADCG) and Administrator Municipal Committee Attock, Aneel Saeed, on Tuesday chaired the monthly performance review meeting of the Municipal Committee, directing all departments to enhance service delivery and accelerate efforts aimed at improving civic amenities across the city.

The meeting was attended by officers from various municipal and administrative departments. Participants conducted a detailed review of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) assigned by the Government of Punjab and assessed departmental performance against established targets. A comprehensive monthly report highlighting achievements, progress on ongoing initiatives, and the quality of public services was presented during the session.

Addressing the meeting, Aneel Saeed emphasized the need for greater efficiency and accountability to ensure the timely achievement of government objectives. He instructed all departments to strengthen their performance and strictly implement directives issued by the Punjab Government. The meeting also reviewed measures relating to urban beautification, sanitation, restoration of green belts, removal of illegal encroachments, and the provision of improved municipal facilities for citizens.

The ADCG directed the concerned officers to further intensify anti-encroachment operations and utilize all available resources to maintain cleanliness and improve the city's appearance. He stressed that creating a clean, organized, and citizen-friendly urban environment remains a key priority of the district administration.

Highlighting the government's commitment to public welfare, Aneel Saeed said the prompt resolution of civic issues, enhancement of municipal services, and effective monitoring of development projects are among the foremost priorities of the Punjab Government. He urged officers to discharge their responsibilities with integrity, professionalism, and dedication to ensure better service delivery.

Several important decisions were also taken during the meeting to improve departmental efficiency and strengthen municipal governance, with a focus on delivering tangible benefits to the residents of Attock.
