LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Mar, 2026) An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Wednesday completed the cross-examination of six eyewitnesses in a case pertaining to the torching of police vehicles in Mughalpura during the May 9 unrest.
The hearing was conducted by ATC Judge Manzer Ali Gill at Kot Lakhpat Jail, where the trial is being held.
During the hearing, six eyewitnesses to the May 9 incident appeared before the court and were cross-examined by counsel for the accused, Omar Sarfraz Cheema. The defence completed its cross-examination of the witnesses.
The court has summoned additional witnesses for cross-examination at the next hearing and adjourned further proceedings until March 6.
The statements of all 37 prosecution witnesses have already been recorded, while the process of cross-examination remains underway.
