FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2026) A meeting regarding arrangement for the Medical and Dental College Entrance Test (MDCAT) was held here on Wednesday.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Anwar Ali chaired the meeting, while the representatives of the University of Health Sciences, Director Students Affairs, GC University, Rescue 1122, Director Colleges, Civil Defense and other officers were also present.

The meeting was informed that the MDCAT test will be held on August 16, in which a total number of 5,252 candidates including 3,834 girls and 1,418 boys will appear.

The sittings for candidates will be arranged at GC University for girl candidates and Divisional Public school (DPS) for boys.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner directed for making the arrangements like clean drinking water, fans for candidates, providing shadow places to parents in the centers. The guidance desk, clean washrooms and other basic facilities in the examination centers should also be ensured.

He also directed for making foolproof security as well as monitoring the entry and exit routes of the examination centers, chalking out a special traffic plan and parking areas at the centers.
