MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) will be held on August 16 under the directions of the Punjab government, with the University of Health Sciences (UHS) and the district administration making comprehensive arrangements to ensure its smooth and transparent conduct.

A high-level meeting of district departments, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Dr Faisal Saleem, reviewed preparations for the entrance test, including security, traffic management, examination centres, electricity supply, Rescue 1122 camps, sanitation and other logistical arrangements.

Addressing the meeting, the deputy commissioner directed all relevant departments to complete preparations well before the test date to ensure a transparent, fair and foolproof examination process. He stressed the need to provide maximum facilities to candidates at examination centres and ensure effective implementation of security and traffic management plans.

Dr Saleem also instructed all concerned departments to remain on high alert to deal with any emergency situation and ensure that candidates are provided with a safe, peaceful and conducive environment for taking the examination.
