This September, Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18. The company is thought to be launching three new flagship iPhones, the iPhone 18 Pro, the iPhone 18 Pro Max, and what some news sources speculate will be Apple’s first foldable form factor; either iPhone Ultra or iPhone Fold.
Apple is likely to release its next flagship iPhone 18 series this September, including iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and its first foldable device, potentially known as the iPhone Ultra.
With the timeline approaching sooner, fans’ excitement continues to rise for the highly anticipated series; however, the launch date remains undisclosed.
Right now, the leading contenders for the date are Tuesday, September 8, or Wednesday, September 9. Alternatively, it could be scheduled for the following week, on Tuesday, September 15, or Wednesday, September 16.
That said, September 8 probably won’t work. Apple typically avoids holding its keynote the day after Labor Day because it needs time to bring in global press and special guests to Cupertino. Since Labor Day falls on Monday, September 7, a Tuesday event seems unlikely.
This indicates a likely launch date of either September 18 or September 25, with September 18 being the stronger possibility.
The foldable iPhone Ultra, if announced, may launch later due to the complexities involved in manufacturing foldable displays.
