ANP leader's brother shot dead in Bajaur

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Jul, 2026) Abdul Razzaq, the brother of Awami National Party (ANP) leader Dr. Tariq was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Loi Sam area of Bajaur district on Tuesday.

According to initial police report, unknown armed men opened fire on Abdul Razzaq, leaving him critically injured.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

The motive behind the attack remains unknown.

Law enforcers have launched an investigation into the incident and are collecting evidence to identify and arrest those responsible.
