Another suspect held in Rs. 9 million robbery case in Karachi

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Mar, 2026) Preedy Police carried out another major operation and arrested an additional suspect involved in

Rs. 9 million robbery case, a spokesperson for District South Police said on Monday.

According to the spokesperson, the arrested suspect was identified as Salman, son of Umar

Gul.

He was apprehended on the indication of his already-arrested accomplices during

ongoing investigations.

Police recovered a motorcycle used in the crime along with Rs. 720,000 cash from the

suspect’s possession.

Officials said that with the latest arrest, three suspects, including the main accused, had so far

been taken into custody in connection with the robbery.

Raids were under way to apprehend the remaining absconding suspects, who were expected

to be arrested soon, the spokesperson added.
