ANF seizes over 200 kg drugs in Attock, Quetta; four suspects arrested

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has seized more than 200 kilograms of narcotics worth over Rs 211 million in two operations carried out in different parts of the country, arresting four suspects, an ANF spokesperson said on Thursday.

He informed that ANF personnel intercepted a passenger bus near a hotel in Attock district and recovered 25.

2 kilograms of hashish and 2 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, locally known as “ice”. Four suspects travelling on the bus were taken into custody during the operation.

In a separate operation in Hazara Ganji district of Quetta, authorities recovered 174 kilograms of heroin, the spokesperson said, adding that the drugs had been concealed for trafficking.

Cases have been registered against the suspects under the Narcotics Control Act, 1997, and further investigations are underway, he added.
