RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jun, 2026) Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted seven successful operations across different cities of the country, arresting six drug suppliers, including two women, and recovered a total of 145.5 kilograms of drugs valued at over Rs 28.1 million. In an international drug interdiction operation in Multan, ANF officials recovered 205 grams of cocaine hidden in ladies’ accessories from a courier parcel arriving from Argentina.
In domestic operations, ANF recovered 4.8 kilograms of drug near Tarnol, Islamabad from two supplier while in another operation 3.6 kilograms of drug were recovered from a vehicle near Hasan Abdal, Attock, leading to the arrest of two drug dealers.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>In Peshawar, ANF held two women and confiscated 2.4 kilograms of drug near GT Road.
In Karachi’s Malir area, ANF recovered 62 kilograms of methamphetamine (ice), and in District Chagai, 70 kilograms of opium were seized from a truck.
Additionally, 2.5 kilograms of drug concealed in a shoe box were seized at a courier office in Islamabad.
All cases have been registered under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA) 1997, and investigations are underway to trace and dismantle the wider drug trafficking networks.
