ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting 8 operations across the country managed to recover over 105 kg drugs worth more than Rs 10 million and arrested 8 suspects.
According to an ANF Headquarters spokesman, in an operation at Lahore Airport, 6.21 kg ice soaked in the clothes was recovered from the luggage of a passenger going to Riyadh.
At Multan Airport, 4.6 kg ice soaked in the clothes was recovered from the luggage of a passenger traveling to Saudi Arabia.
In third operation at Islamabad Airport, 1.22 kg ice was recovered from the bag of a passenger traveling to Dammam.
At a courier office in Rawalpindi, 106 grams ecstasy pills were seized from a parcel arrived from the Netherlands.
The spokesman informed that near Ghazri Bridge, Karachi, 12 kg hashish was confiscated from a rickshaw and a suspect was arrested.
Near Phandu Road, Peshawar, 79 kg hashish was recovered from an unattended truck.
In an operation conducted near Kolachi Road, Karachi, 248 grams of ice, 10 grams cocaine, & 190 grams ecstasy pills were recovered from the possession of 2 suspects traveling on a motorcycle and a car.
Near Islamabad Toll Plaza, 3.6 kg hashish was recovered from a vehicle and 2 accused were apprehended during the operation.
Separate cases have been registered against the accused under the CNSA-1997.
