ANF arrests three suspects, seizes drugs worth Rs1.2 million in two operations

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted two operations in Rawalpindi and Peshawar on Wednesday and arrested three suspects, recovering 4.95 kilograms of narcotics worth more than Rs1.2 million.

According to an ANF spokesperson, during an operation near a university in Rawalpindi, ANF personnel intercepted a vehicle and seized 4.5 kg of methamphetamine, commonly known as ice.

Three suspects were arrested during the raid.

The suspects confessed during initial interrogation that they had been supplying drugs to students of educational institutions.

In a separate operation, ANF recovered 450 grams of hashish from a parcel at a courier office in Peshawar.

The spokesman said cases had been registered against the suspects under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA), 1997, and further investigations were underway.
