RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted five operations in different cities across the country on Tuesday and arrested seven suspects, recovering 94.18 kilograMS(kgs) of narcotics worth more than Rs 3.3 million.
According to an ANF spokesman, during an operation near Boat Basin in Karachi, officials recovered 660 grams of hashish from a suspect. The accused later confessed to supplying drugs to students of educational institutions.
In Lahore, ANF recovered 30 kgs of hashish from a vehicle near a school in Bahadurabad and arrested one suspect.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>In another operation near Sohrab Goth in Karachi, officials seized 12 kgs of hashish from a vehicle and arrested two suspects.
Separate raids in Malir led to the recovery of 1.44 kgs of hashish and 80 grams of opium from the possession of two accused.
Meanwhile, ANF recovered 50 bottles of liquor from a flat near Khayaban-e-Bukhari in Karachi and arrested one suspect.
Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA) 1997, while further investigations are underway, the spokesman said.
