AMLU puts Mano gang in handcuffs, 3 held with 13 stolen bikes

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s Anti-Motorcycle Lifting Unit (AMLU) busted an inter-provincial motorcycle theft gang and arrested three members, including its ringleader, recovering stolen motorcycles, fake Currency and weapons.

An official told APP on Wednesday that the arrested accused belonged to the organized and previously record-holder “Mano gang,” involved in dozens of motorcycle theft cases in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

He said the arrested accused were identified as Kashif alias Mano, Ijlal Haider and Muhammad Zeeshan.

The official said police recovered 13 stolen motorcycles worth millions of rupees, fake currency, weapons and ammunition from their possession.

He said the recovered motorcycles were linked to more than 10 criminal cases registered in different police stations.
