Amb. Tirmizi highlights role of sports in strengthening ties

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2026) Ambassador of Pakistan to the Russian Federation Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Saturday, highlighted the role of sports in strengthening cultural ties and fostering people-to-people connections.

The ambassador welcomed the cricket team of Pakistani expatriates in Moscow at Pakistan House, a press release said.

During the reception, Ambassador Tirmizi wished the team success in the tournaments to be held in Moscow in May and June.
