Allama Nasir Madni did not suffer heart attack: medics

Known religious scholar Allama Nasir Madni did not suffer heart attack as reported on social media rather he is suffering from fever and has an infection on a foot, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Institute of Cardiology doctors said on Friday

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jul, 2026) Known religious scholar Allama Nasir Madni did not suffer heart attack as reported on social media rather he is suffering from fever and has an infection on a foot, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Institute of Cardiology doctors said on Friday.

CPEIC Asst Prof Dr Shahid told APP that he had examined Allama Nasir Madni who was brought to health facility suspecting a heart attack from Jehania after his condition deteriorated during Friday sermon at a mosque.

He informed that the all his reports were normal, adding that they would keep him at CPEIC for a night to further monitor his condition.

Allama Madni is suffering from fever and has a foot infection, he clarified saying that if a patient who does not drink water for a long time may collapse while sitting in a gathering.
