Allied Hospital-I are fully functional and providing affordable and quality diagnostic services to the patients.

Talking to APP, he said the radiology department was operating with a modern diagnostic system and delivering uninterrupted services despite heavy patient influx.

He said that patients not only from Faisalabad but from the entire division were benefiting from advanced and cost-effective diagnostic facilities installed at the hospital.

He said that the diagnostic process had been made highly efficient and transparent, enabling hundreds of families to benefit daily.

Under digital system, more than 15,000 X-rays are conducted every month in this hospital while emergency and OPD patients are provided round-the-clock services, he added.

He said that a state-of-the-art CT scan machine installed for immediate diagnosis of accidents and head injuries was conducting an average of 2,500 to 3,000 tests per month and it is a significant achievement for a public sector hospital.

Highlighting progress in the ultrasound section, Prof Dr Asim Shaukat said that more than 400 ultrasound and color Doppler tests were being performed daily, with a large number of women and children among the beneficiaries.

He said that the latest MRI machine was also working at full capacity, facilitating the reporting of hundreds of complex cases every month.

He said that hospital administration had introduced a paperless system under which diagnostic images were directly transferred to doctors’ computers, saving film costs and minimizing the chances of human error in diagnosis.
