All measures being taken to ensure cleanliness in Ramadan bazaars

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) Suthra Punjab Agency Lahore (SPAL) is ensuring implementation of its special Ramadan cleanliness plan to provide citizens with a clean environment during the holy month.

According to a press release issued here on Friday as per the plan, a dedicated sanitation workforce had been deployed at 23 Ramadan bazaars established by the district administration across Lahore’s 9 towns. A total of 156 Suthra Punjab Agency Lahore workers were performing duties in 2 shifts at model and 'Sahulat bazaars' set up for Ramadan.

Additional waste containers and bins had been installed in and around the Ramadan markets to ensure proper waste disposal.

Sanitation staff had also been deployed at 'Ramadan Nigehban bazaars' to facilitate citizens and maintain cleanliness standards.

Suthra Punjab DG Babar Sahib Din had issued directives for the immediate resolution of complaints received from Ramadan bazaars, ensuring uninterrupted sanitation services.

SPAL officials stated that all necessary measures were being taken to provide the best possible sanitary conditions for citizens visiting Ramadan bazaars.

The company had also appealed to the public to cooperate with sanitation teams and play their role in keeping their surroundings clean.
