MUZAFFARABAD:
The government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) placed 150 members of the banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) on the Fourth Schedule through 10 separate notifications issued by the Home Department on Thursday. According to the notifications, those listed in the Fourth Schedule included four top ringleaders of the banned outfit, as well as members against whom substantial evidence of involvement in violent activities existed. This action has been taken under Section 16(1) of the AJK Anti-Terrorism Act, they said. The Fourth Schedule of the AJK Anti-Terrorism Act is a list of proscribed or suspected persons.
