AJK Information Minister visits shrines of Baba Peera Shah Ghazi, Mian Muhammad Bakhsh in Khari Sharif

MIRPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Mar, 2026) Azad Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Information, Religious Affairs and Auqaf Chaudhry Muhammad Rafique Nayyar on Monday visited the shrines of eminent spiritual figures Baba Peera Shah Ghazi, popularly known as Damri Wali Sarkar, and renowned mystic poet Mian Muhammad Bakhsh at Khari Sharif, officials said.

During the visit, the minister offered Fateha and laid floral wreaths at the mausoleums of the revered personalities, paying tribute to their spiritual and literary contributions to the region and the subcontinent.

On the occasion, Nayyar also visited the office of the Auqaf Department Azad Jammu and Kashmir at Khari Sharif and reviewed facilities available for pilgrims visiting the shrines.

He directed Auqaf officials to utilize all available resources to facilitate devotees and ensure that pilgrims visiting the sacred sites are provided with maximum convenience and do not face any difficulties during their visits.
