Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions are playing an increasingly important role in transforming customer engagement and operational efficiency in Saudi Arabia’s banking sector, said Pakistani technology expert Waqas Ahmed
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions are playing an increasingly important role in transforming customer engagement and operational efficiency in Saudi Arabia’s banking sector, said Pakistani technology expert Waqas Ahmed.
Talking to APP, Waqas Ahmed, who is currently serving as Senior Consultant, MS Dynamics 365, at Saudi Investment Bank in Riyadh, said modern banking institutions were increasingly relying on intelligent CRM systems to improve customer service, workflow management, and operational visibility.
He said Microsoft Dynamics CRM had evolved far beyond traditional contact management and had become a strategic enterprise platform supporting customer relationship management, complaint handling, branch coordination, internal workflows, and service operations through centralized digital systems.
“The integration of AI into Microsoft Dynamics CRM environments is helping banks identify operational patterns, prioritize customer cases, reduce repetitive processes, and make more informed decisions through data-driven insights,” he said.
He said in the banking sector, where operational accuracy and timely customer response were critical, AI-supported CRM platforms were contributing significantly to service quality and workflow efficiency.
Waqas Ahmed said his work primarily focused on the design, implementation, and modernization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions for enterprise-level banking environments, particularly in areas related to customer engagement systems, data migrations, integrations, and scalable workflow management.
He said modernization of legacy Dynamics CRM systems into updated Dynamics 365 platforms was becoming increasingly important because AI-driven CRM systems required structured data, connected workflows, and stable architecture to deliver meaningful operational value.

He further said AI-enhanced CRM platforms were helping banking institutions improve customer visibility, streamline case handling, and support more responsive banking services in Saudi Arabia.
According to him, CRM systems integrated with AI capabilities enabled banking teams to better understand customer requirements, efficiently track service requests, and determine appropriate next actions in real time.
Waqas Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from FAST - National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences and has expertise in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, APIs, SQL Server, SSRS, SharePoint integration, and enterprise reporting systems.
He also holds multiple Microsoft certifications, including Power Platform Solution Architect, Developer Associate, and Functional Consultant credentials.
He said the role of CRM professionals was becoming increasingly strategic as banks continued transitioning from conventional digital systems toward intelligent and AI-enabled customer engagement platforms.
He said Pakistani technology professionals were contributing actively to enterprise transformation initiatives in the Gulf region by combining technical expertise with practical business solutions aimed at supporting future-ready banking infrastructure.
