Speaking to a private television channel, the minister said the abolishing super tax had fulfilled a longstanding demand of exporters and would enhance the competitiveness of Pakistani businesses in international markets. He said the government had also provided relief to the salaried class by reducing income tax rates and announcing an increase in salaries in the new budget.
