Adviser expresses sorrow over martyrdom of security personnel in Barkhan operation

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) Balochistan government’s Adviser on Home Affairs, Babar Yousafzai, has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of security personnel during an operation in the Noshum area of Barkhan district.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Babar Yousafzai said that Major Tauseef Ahmed Bhatti and four other soldiers

laid down their lives in the pursuit of peace and in the fight to rid the country of terrorism.

He emphasized that the sacrifices of the martyrs are a source of pride for the entire nation, and their services

will always be remembered.

Babar Yousafzai condemned the actions of terrorist elements, noting that they are attempting to destabilize peace in Balochistan. However, he stressed that such nefarious designs will never succeed due to the professional capabilities

of the security forces and the cooperation of the public.

He further highlighted that the sacrifices of security institutions are unforgettable in the struggle to establish peace and stability across the country.

The Adviser also prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks, patience for their families.
