Adviser congratulates nation on successful test of Taimoor air-launched cruise missile

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) Adviser to Chief Minister on Climate Change and Environment Naseem-ur-Rehman Khan Mulakhel on Wednesday congratulated the nation on the successful test of the “Taimoor” air-launched cruise missile by the Pakistan Navy.

In a statement, he said that the successful test of the “Taimor” missile is a clear proof of Pakistan’s defense self-reliance and the development of modern military technology at the local level.

He said that the successful test of this locally developed anti-ship cruise missile is a brilliant achievement of the scientists and engineers of the Pakistan Navy which shows the great success of Pakistan in the field of defense.

The adviser said that the locally developed anti-ship system would not only further strengthen the naval defense system but would also protect Pakistan’s maritime borders to an extraordinary extent.

He said that the hard work and dedication of Pakistani scientists, engineers and technical experts have played a key role in making the defense of the homeland strong, modern and impregnable.

He said that the entire nation is proud of the professionalism, modern strategy and self-reliance in defense technology of the Pakistan Navy and such successful experiences further strengthen the confidence in Pakistan's defense capabilities and prove that the Pakistan Navy is fully committed and ready to protect its maritime borders.
