ADC reviews arrangements at Gujar Khan cattle market ahead of Eid-ul-Azha

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) Additional Deputy Commissioner (HQ) Abdul Rehman Khan on Sunday visited the cattle market established in Gujar Khan to review arrangements ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

Assistant Commissioner Gujar Khan was also present on the occasion.

The ADC reviewed facilities being provided to citizens, including cleanliness, security, parking, water supply and traffic management.

He directed the concerned officials to ensure maximum facilities for citizens and traders visiting the market and maintain cleanliness at all times.

Abdul Rehman Khan said that all departments were actively working in line with the directions of the Punjab government to ensure best possible arrangements so that people do not face any inconvenience during Eid-ul-Azha.

He also inspected the medical camp, veterinary services, provision of clean drinking water and lighting arrangements, directing the staff to ensure smooth functioning of all facilities.

The assistant commissioner briefed that special teams had been deployed to maintain security, cleanliness and traffic flow in the market, while a help desk had also been set up to guide visitors.
